Why one earth would he close his account? He was in the top 100 right? That's worth money. Some people are so impulsive when it comes their channels. I guess he can reopen it if he wants. I'm not sure how that works. Maybe it's all a publicity stunt. :)

I'm not a super-fan of Phil's, but his vids are entertaining and I watch them. But I do have to agree with debstef - I'm here to interact with people. It' more rewarding than just watching.
That being said, I hope his account gets reopened.

I woke up this morning to a closed account and an inbox full of people asking why I closed my account. To this I respond,"I have no idea who closed my account, or if it is some sort of problem with the website". I've contacted some people at youtube to see what happened, and hopefully they respond asap.

It really is a shame, and worse case scenario, I will continue the show on PhillyD tv, Revver, and have my shows available on iTunes again.
