someone PLEASE tell me how he has his ride cymbal set up. i love that ride it's so like silent, without the echo, my favorite ride sound. then i notice he has some bell shit on top of it. never seen that one before, sick drumming !

Considering that Warface was formed in 2001 and this video is from a rehearsal/preproduction of this album that was released in 2006, I kinda doubt that this is 10 years old.

Overrated =/... But he is good, yes. Overrated was towards Nicholas Barker But this guy has very nice potential imo, just needs to be able to single-foot blast in my opinion but he's still good.

So, you use all wrist?? I use the finger tecnique and in a couple of weeks I'm going fast and not hiting light. the problem of the finger tecnique and i gues in wrist is that if you go to fast for your own speed. so that makes you hit lighter on the snare head. same goes with the bass. I'm going to check the Wrist Technique Applied to Blast Beat and see what i can learn from it, but i'm going to stick with the finger tecnique. I like it a lot. For me it's more relaxing and has a lot of power.

My hand records are all set with a technique that is mostly wrist. There is no "finger only" motion although there surely is a mix of fingers and wrist. Making my point, you can believe the bare hand one is ALL WRIST because there are no sticks used; those are all full single stroke hits. Learning this has allowed me to express more ideas on recordings without worrying about hitting too lightly to 'go to tape'.

i just saw a vid of Mike Magini.. He is using finger tecnique.. Just that the hand grip isn't the frech grip, but in the vid that i saw you can clearly see that he's using finger. and all teachers that i've gone to they tell me the same. finger tecnique is faster.

Yeah, but it takes more time instead of using fingers. In a week i triple the speed with finger and with wrist i took like 2 years.

when i say cheating i mean that they use their real power not the triggers so it sounds lauder. and yes triggers are good to defind each hit on the drum. I'm not against it. you got to love how does symbals sound. He's a great drummer, i just want to see how fast he can go with his feet and the tecnique.

actually... if you play with wrist they will get hurt and you will stop at a point of speed. I know.. my left wrist isn't good because of that, but with finger tecnique you go faster and you almost... ALMOST... you dont have limitation for speed and power. same goes with double... I prefer go with swivel. you go A LOT faster with it and you dont have to forse so much your leg, so that means you wont get busted playing fast. and you dont have to cheat.
