ok first of all hoagland has more knowledge,experience,and history in space exploration than u (unless ur neil armstrong)so dont attack him on that count.2nd theres over 3 quarters of original appollo images and tapes still not released by nasa so id call that surpressed info (not to mention the rest).3rd hoagland bases his arguments on faults in what nasa have said and done these can be confirmed by anyone so he doesnt fit them around his arguments.i can continue if needed

There is a lot of known reasons, why manned explorations to the moon are not on the agenda. Hoagland has no authority whatsoever in the field of space exploration. He's claiming supression of information when there wasn't a discovery beforehand.

I've read his Mars-book. A bunch of funny constructed arguments to fit his claims and with no conclusions whatsoever. In his logic that must lead us to the question: Is Hoagland covering something up?

What does a face on mars, mirrored that makes a lion have to do with the bible? You make no sense at all and maybe they cut the video image because they had more to discuss then to just show you the mirror result of the fact on mars.

What's going on is that we're getting better and better resolution pix, and the "face" details are now proved to have been illusory. Contrary to what ShenasRI believes, much effort has been expended to image this feature, purely because of public interest in it. The wikipedia page "face on mars" is a fair summary.

Having seen other pictures of the face on Mars, it looked like a complete face with nostrils, lips, pupils etc, yet here they say the two sides could be vastly conflicting. What is going on exactly?

Hoaglands been fighting for nasa to take pictures for so many years yet nothing is being done. Nasa scientists say that they won't spend resources to look at what is an optical illusion(face on mars) yet they're so stupid they send a dumb toy robot to bring us trivial pictures of the red planet. That's how they're wasting resources and the US does nothing.

It is the very fact that the Brookings Report mentioned withholding proof of alien civilisations which is interesting, especially when you remember that NASA was designed to be completely open and transparent, much to the distain of the Pentagon. The question of withholding information shouldn't have even been contemplated.

Here's what the Brookings Report actually states: "Questions one might wish to answer...would include: how might such information, under what circumstances, be presented to or withheld from the public for what ends? What might be the role of the discovering scientists ... regarding release of the fact of discovery?" That's IT, on the subject of releasing info to the public.

It is artificial? How do you know this for sure? NASA is full of shit? That sounds like RC Hogland talking. But why would NASA cover it up? Evidence of civilizations in the universe would increase funding, no? I could be wrong about this though. Personally I would love this stuff to be real and to prove intelligent life is out there. But depending on fuzzy data is just not hard science. The sad truth is even when Hi Res images are taken and shows no detail of a face people still ignore it

Maybe those features are not meant as a message, however it is artificial. There is no evidence for dune trains on earth. I googled for dune trains and it is an explanation from Nasa. Nasa is full of shit.

Seen that before The face? another pattern that the mind looks for. glass tubes - we have those on earth they are called dune trains it's not glass. They form in weird patterns. EXAMPLE = w w w DOT space DOT com SLASH images SLASH 031110_mars_dunes1_02 DOT jpg . Notice how it looks like Glass. Bottom line you have to ask if aliens wanted to make contact visually why not do something that can't form naturally? Like a letter from their alphabet, or a full figure. What is with the ambiguity?
