| I didn't think Filipino's were considered Hispanic but of Malaysian Origin. Spain did take over their country that's why they are are called the Phillipines whose named after Prince Phillip of Spain. Personally I think the Filipinos should reclaim their original name of their country. Spoke with many Filipinos and they donot know their origins. They have Chinese,Spanish,Muslim & Amer. influences. True there are many dialects & different features of these people. Showbiz likes the light skin. |
