| ouch! I had two baby teeth took out yesterday (canine), the worst bit was when they put the needles in the gum to numb it (it HURT!). They simply got the clamp, turn, and pull, et voila, they were gone! Now I have two gaps in which I can lick as a habit until the teeth grow through! |

| I had mine out Aug.26 and your so drugged up the first day you don't feel anything. Then when everything wears off it hurts but mine not to bad. Now the next day my mouth is just stiff and you can feel very little pain. |

| i'm not too worried about it..i've had guaze in my mouth while i was smoking so i should be okay. and i think if you somehow get it it wears off after 7 or 8 days you'll probably be fine |

| Are you scared about dry socket? I had about a pack of smokes before I found out that something called dry socket exists.. It seems that I'm now fucked..I guess I'll tell the dentist to make another cut in my gums and let the blood clot again... sounds like a good idea? |

| No, you could get dry socket from the sucking motion. You have to wait a while. Dry socket is extremely painful, it's when you loose the clot. Same as for drinking through straws. |

| I just had mine removed today. My gum was numbed at that time so I didn't feel anything but then I saw there was blood all over :-) I could also hear the crunching and feel the pressure of the tools. However no pain during the surgery and for 4 hours later.. (till the anesthetic wore off).. then it a bit painful. however the painkillers my dentist gave me helped a lot. |

| I got mine out at 9:00 today. And my bleeding stopped maybe 1 to 2 hour after I got home. Now my chin, tongue, and lip are numb, and can feel it being soar. But It isn't that bad so far. |

| Don't worry. I had all 4 of mine removed. I was awake. I could hear everything and feel the pressure of the blade and the twisting and crunching of my wisdom teeth. If you are put to sleep then you shouldn't worry. |
