As far as JD Drew goes he did that because he had originally told the phillies that he wouldn't sign for less than $10,000,000. The Phillies wouldn't pay him what he wanted so he went somewhere else. Not so sure about a rookie asking for 10m but the whole idea is different than Elway and Manning. |

| The Red sox won't catch up to the yankees 26 world championships, but the Red Sox have had the most recent sucess with 2 world series since the yankees last even made a world series. The Patriots and Giants are equal on SB wins with 3. The Celtics are the best 17 nba's. The Bruins have by far the best record in the east. So yes I think you CAN compare the 2 and Boston have had the most success in recent years buddy. |

HOWEVER since the Devils play in the NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA (in accordance the Gross Domestic Product Statistics that come out yearly) Even though the Devils play in New Jersey they still play in the NYC Metro Area. If you are going to count the Giants and the Jets who play in NEW JERSEY as New York Teams...why can't you include the Devils into the mix who play closer to Manhattan than the Jets or Giants....idiot.
