wow! well Japanese Technology and architecture is so advanced, your buildings can withstand stronger and longer shaking
In Japan, earthquake comes everyday; Godzilla comes every two years.
あ?日本人なめんな
This happens all the time in Japan.
Japaneses are accomplished to earthquake.
Well, except for some major earth quakes, we actually enjoy the event. Most modern buildings in Japan are made to resist to major earth quake that one can imagine, so don't worry if you're sightseeing in Japan. Seriously, if there's a medium sized quake in the U.S., most buildings are to collapse in a minute...
yeah it's pretty common. I mean, we don't really get freaked out unless it's very long (most of the time they're short) or strong. we know most are harmless, so.
damn. living in japan must suck. they have to deal with earthquakes, tourists, large crowds and godzilla.
it is incredible how these big earthquakes affect japan almost every years, but nobody dies and everything comes back to normal only a few hours after the earthquake
omg, and I get freaked out when we have one like once a year here in SoCal, well we have them everyday too, but I'm talking about the ones that are strong enough to feel.
OMG. That is horrible you must have bin shaking for moths later...
there's like three everyday lol
'Whatever'
gawd! are quakes THAT common in Japan that some people are like 'whatever' about them?
ar 1:09 that chick sooo hott!
OMG that people is so relaxed... I have experimented smaller quakes and I got soo scary
Someone is smiling,I really can not believe that,I remember we were running and shouting when the earthquake happenned.luckly, the buildings are OK,but someone hurt becouse of glass windows.I live in Sichuan China.
They don't think it's funny. In Japan people often smile when they're nervous to maintain the calm. It's a lot better than screaming and running around crushing people underfoot in crazed stampedes. That's why the TV anchorwoman was smiling (1:09) - to keep people from panicking.
oh vis scary!!!
I have no idea how scary this would be, but I imagine I would be terrified. My only experience was a 4.9, whilst I was just drifting off to sleep. Even though that's not very powerful it sounded as though a grand piano had just been dropped on to the floor next door. I fortunately live in Britain so we don't experience earthquakes of the magnitude Japan does.
I think what makes a quake more scary is the noise...as for TSXboy26 don't worry about wishing for earthquakes your state has enough "fun" with twisters, droughts and bush.
HOWEVER, i don't quite remember when, but ONCE, when an earthquake occurred, and the Japanese government was ordering related departments to search for survivors, and they reported FOUND NONE, ALL PERISHED; but then when they were cleaning the sites, they found seven warm bodies, and one still breathing. Now, Japanese people might be calm DURING the earthquake, but not AFTER the quakes...that gives us something to think about.
parece q si
this is a project of controll clima(CHEMTRAILS-HAARP) and production of "natural" disasters; as tsunami, hurricanes in birmania and where the USA(666)imperialism, need creates disasters,to enter with its "AIDs"and controll ! nowadays tecnology can reproduce disasters using atomic bombs, situated in special lines of Earth!

If you live in Tokyo, you will feel earthquakes over 1000 times in 1 year. So we Japanese people accustom earthquakes. Also,in the school or home,we usually learn how to deal with earthquakes and tsunami from when we are children. And fire drills are held in our schools and offices once a month. However,Japanese government said that if a major earthquake hit Tokyo, over ten thousand people will die.
Notice how calm the Japanese are during the earthquake, and compare to other earthquake videos in other places. Big difference, from their past experiences and education?
oh my god thats so cool it looks like fun!! i wish we would get some!
ya deben estar acostumbrados, no ?
これって「2001年芸予地震」ですよね。すごいゆれ
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
cute news reader....
looks fun
those ppl in the theatre actually find earthquake funny??
its shaking more powerful than the china one from the looks of it...
In Japan earthquakes is a very common problem. Its very fear!
I would like to go there sometime. Beautiful city name :D
i had my first earthquake in tokyo 1 hour ago.6.8 for 1 minute.thanks it was 100 miles away.
I live in far western Ibaraki Japan in Sakurakawa city. We often have 2 or 3 earthquakes a day. Fortunately they are very very weak such that we barely feel them. Scientists from all over the world travel here to study this area due to high seismic activity. It is said that because we have many small earthquakes, is the reason for Ibaraki rarely being at the epicenter of a strong earthquake. So many small earthquakes are actually a good thing at preventing the BIG ONE!
Actually, if you're used to them, like us in Cali, they can be sorta fun, to watch the ground move about. We don't get very worried until we reach about 6.5. We don't even stop walking in 4.5s...
lol the second to last video, the one that looks like a movie theater, the people, were still sitting in their seats like nothing is happening lol
Yeah, i live in Italy and i've been through several tremors (the last one about 2 months ago), but nothing as strong as those in this video
lol yea and your supposed to stay calm in sever things like that not completely have a freak attack and go screaming and piling out the door, possible knocking people down and getting them hurt, they are most likly used to it as well, some of the worst earthquakes are in japan and alaska.
Ik zeg maar gewoon dat ik ze wel heb meegemaakt.:D
I live in Europe too, but I've witnessed several earthquakes.
It has to be so bizarre if suddely everything starts shaking.. i live in Europe, never experienced it myself..
