Just working on some single kick grooves.
My name is Scott Davies. I'm a recording touring drummer based in Denver/Boulder,USA. I recently parted ways with national act Opie Gone Bad after 10 years.
I'm excited about new opportunities!

This kit is a kit I built myself.
It's maple 13"Snare,20"Kick,8"10"14" toms,12"hats,assorted brass and Axis hardware. I sold it recently and now play for DDrum.

The sound is coming through a mixing desk therefore you can "Gate" the bass drum to give it that "Click" sound .. nice beats

The second groove reminded me of Big Mess. And you're the reason I don't learn double bass. There's really no way I could be as fast with 2 pedals as you are with 1.

For this style of drumming, the small "funk" sizes work best for me. I actually play in an indie rock project and use an old Ludwig kit with a 24" kick,a 15" rack tom and 18" floor tom with big ass cymbals and hats.... it is SO LOUD...... It's the polar opposite of this kit here...haha
