Comedian Drew Carey is replacing Bob Barker on "The Price is Right." Carey made the announcement last night on "The Late Show With David Letterman." Barker retired last month after 35 years on the program. There's no word on when the Carey will go on air. The comedian is known for his role in the "The Drew Carey Show" and also as the host of "Who's Line is it Anyway."

"Potter" fans are going wild over the final book. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" broke sales records over the weekend. U.S. Publisher Scholastic says it's the fastest selling book in history. In just one day following its release, the novel reportedly sold 8.3 million copies in the U.S. alone. That's an average of 300,000 "Potter" books an hour.

Paris Hilton is fulfilling her promises to help others. The hotel heiress reportedly attended an auction on Sunday to raise money for an organization called Life Rolls On. The group, founded by one of Hilton's friends, raises funds for kids with spinal cord injuries. Hilton bid and won a surfing lesson for more than 17,000 dollars.

Actress Julia Roberts is being honored for her contribution to the film industry. She'll reportedly receive the American Cinematheque award at a ceremony this fall. The honor is given once a year to an individual in the movie business. Past recipients include George Clooney and Al Pacino. Roberts won an Oscar for her role in "Erin Brokovich" and was also nominated for "Steel Magnolias" and "Pretty Woman."

Celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may be heading on tour together. Anthony tells Billboard magazine they're talking about performing a show...just the two of them. He's toured several times in the past but Lopez has apparently yet to go on a full tour for any of her 6 albums. This wouldn't be the first time the couple combined their singing talents...they've collaborated on several albums before.
