icarus
I can't help it i just had to reinstall!
Everytime you talk about Deus Ex on a public website, at least 1 person will reinstall it. Guaranteed. Also it was Icarus.
It's a phone in an un-lit office when you're in Paris. I forget the building exactly but it's a narrow street with a gate blocking each exit, MJ12 troops on each side. If you go upstairs when you break into the building, it's the office phone on the desk. I believe you only have to answer it once.
i talko to jC! i was therE!
WTH?! I missed this while playing the game? How many types did you have to awnser the phone, or where? I awnsered the phone once but since it didn't do anything I didn't awnser the rest.
yeah, do you know who icarus really is? (i mean in the real world) try to search icarus deadalus greek
imho, dx is the best pc game ever created, because its atmosphere of mysteriousness makes me so interested in the following events in the game. my god, wish I could entirely forget about dx plot and play it again experiencing all those fucking awesome missions...
You're so right! See, that's why i love all Deus Ex fans - they have fantasy. Even in Youtube comments! :D And they like to think about why things are how they are. Not one single so called "kiddie" would have fun with this game for longer than 5 minutes. All the others - as myself - consider Deus Ex either the best or one of the best games in existence. And that's the truth. I experienced no other game that intensive - so much situations i can remember right now. Games nowadays don't have that.
whichever AI it is, Icaurs is definitely the creepiest, JC reacts very calmly to a psycopathic self aware machine hacking into his brain at intervals, i would brick myself
It's Icarus. Just do a search on Google and you will find out.
its Morpheus or Icarus one of them
i know that voice... its Morpheus!!!!!!
I thought that the person on the other end of the phone was Morpheus, the computer in Morgan Everett's Paris compound...
awesome. I never found that one.
That voice is Daedalus.Befor it Makes the fusion with Ikarus to Helios....
1st of all, there are plenty of people who still believe in god (uh...like you?), so if there are no more melodies, lack of belief can't be the cause 2nd, how do you know whether the composer is a religious man (or woman)? 3rd, you're launching into a diatribe about faith based on the music in deus freakin' ex?
I don't think you appreciate what you are saying. Revenge is mine, saith the Lord.
People like you shouldn't be allowed to reproduce, FatherWarhol.
You don't believe me? Even in cheesy pop songs the decline is evident. Compare the metronomic rhythms and pentatonic twiddles of Leona Lewis with the (sugary) polyphony of Elton John. "random collection of disjointed noises" Have you heard of a record label called Warp Records?
Wtf are you talking about? Music HAS to have a melody otherwise it's just a random collection of disjointed noises, for it to BE music it has to have a melody, do your homework.
Scared the shit out of me on the first time. Because i like randomly pressing the use key on phones. *because i once managed to use it as a keypad somewhere cant remember if it was lebedev's airfield or at the free clinic in hells kitchen*
groovy music , super cool
Icarus :)
Daedalus.
................ tard
The camera angle of the phone at the end is the way.
man theres so much i didn't discover even though i finished it.....
The music is great because it is melodic. People don't write melody these days because melody is heroic and god pleasing. Today no one believes in God and there are no heroes. For that reason, there are no melodies now. Seriously, put the radio on there are no melodies.
no they fuse further into the game. at the laboratory i believe
Haven't Icarus and Daedalus already fused by this point? Meaning it has to be Helios.
Wow the music is epic... well i guess everything is epic on deus ex :P
Its for pc too. it first released for PC.
Deus Ex is still the finest game I've ever played.
it's icarus. you can tell because he says "Yessss" Helios always says that when you see him in Area 51.
i am
ok settle down why you getting all defensive about it likes youre an expert on this game
fuck you i made a mistake but its on pc and xbox and they thought about making a film but it got cancelled so there
actually deus ex 2 is not on ps2 fool and there is no need for the rudeness
fuck off you dip shit its on ps2 xbox and origanly on pc
deus ex 2 is only out for xbox but your not missing anything it kinda lacks story but it is kinda fun to play
Actually, it's Icarus. Helios isn't created until Daedelus and Icarus merge after you finish at Vandenberg.
Yeah this is from a house in paris if I remember correct, it's Helios talking ;)
my bad :D lol i wanna play it agin!! and does anyone know it Deus Ex 2 is out for PS2?
Music from this game is awesome.
Robby you are absolutely right, though indeed it's Helios, not Icarus.
It's Icarus, I believe. Since you can't talk through the infolink, he talks to you through that particular phone.
Anyone know who exactly this was anyways?
Ok just as you come out of the sewers (the sewers with the greasels in) break into the building that isn't the catacombs entrance. It's in there. But be careful, 3 MJ-12 commandos patrol the area.
where exactly was this? sombody answer please?
