Damn, I love this game. I pissed myself laughing when I first encountered this chick... me and my sister used to quote her all the time (along with all the other characters of DX).

FYI deus ex was one of the best selling games in 1999. the comment didnt refer to the posting, it was in reference to actual game play.

the paris missions were probably the most frightening encounter in my life. with icarus, the greasels, the darkness, everything was so creepy. Deus Ex RULES! this is one of the best games to be EVER made. invisible war was alright but they made JC look like a fool...

Yes I would say that this ranks up along Civilization, Hitman, and Fallout.

It's a timeless masterpiece.
1. The twin towers were missing in the new york area
2. I havent even heard of MJ-12 till I played this in '99
3. There's just an infinite way of playing this through.

Are you NUTS, Motown? Deus Ex (Episode I) was one of the best games ever made when you consider all aspects of it being AWESOME. Gameplay, graphics (for their time), story, characters, music, sound effects + ambience... not to mention some pretty great vocal performances that didn't sound like a bunch of cheesy actors. Deus Ex... was the BOMB. 2nd one was alright, but #1 was sweeeeeet.
