Dave's an ass. No one who has been in a big earthquake, let alone been injured or had family members injured or worse, would make fun of someone else seeking shelter, especially in a fvcking TV STUDIO where there's a lot of large lights hanging from ceilings, etc.

true, earthquakes are not funny, but this was a small one (aftershock, maybe)! letterman is an ass! those guys wanted to "educate" the people to stay inside, they only tried to help! since when is that funny or bad?!

lol... I was like 4 years old when this one happened. It was my first quake... shit was falling all throughout the house... glass breaking... and my sister came running out of the bathroom with her pants to her ankles... I was so confused and scared lol, but it was funny at the same time.

Every number on the scale is whatever the previous # is, squared. A 7.0 is 6.0 ^ 2. A 6.0 is a 4.0 ^ 3 and so on. Either way, even if the quake was a 6.6 rather than a 5.6, I'm sure my building would have come down, me dead and naked in the shower. Weeeeak. Glad it wasn't worse (knock on wood)

lol you just moved to LA well welcome to the city of angels dont worry about the earthquake it was a small one the big ones are 7.0 which is about 600 times stronger than yesterdays quake
