Chapter 2. hope you like it!
(David's Point of View)

Woah.....its already August and I'm still on tour...*sigh* August. I wonder if she still remembers me from Star Search. It's been a long time since then. I bet she remembers. Hopefully. She always said she'd watch me when I got famous and I'd always say she be the one to get famous. Maybe she'll be at the LA concert, if she still lives in Los Angeles. I still remember everyday in Star Search with her, good times. I prayed that she would not get out so early so that we could be the finalists together but, that didn't happen. I wish we would have stayed in contact with each other. That would've been cool. Hopefully I'll see her at the venue......I wonder how much she's changed.......

(August's POV)

"Come on Dad!" "Where are the tickets?!?!?" "I need to leave now with Nicole!" ( Nicole by the way is my BFF, she's 19 and likes Jason Castro so good for her)

"Relax they're right here. Why are you in such a rush anyway?" (Mr.Cole)

"We want to get some autographs when they're at their buses which is in 2 hours!" "It's and 1 hour drive!" "Are the backstage passes here also?"

"Yup, It's all there, have fun girls." "Call me when you get there" (Mr.Cole)

"Thanks! Bye Dad," I yell.

"Bye, Mr.Cole," Nicole yells back.

"Finally," I say, "We can go, I'm so excited I'm bouncing of the walls!" I yell.

"Relax, save your energy for the concert, you'll be needing it when Jason comes out," Nicole smirks.

"Haha" I say sarcastically, " You're soooo funny"

"Crap," I say to Nicole, "Some of the idols have already come out, let's ask someone who hasn't"

"Excuse me," asks Nicole, "Who has come out of the buses?"

???- "Carly Smithson, Michael Johns, Syesha, and Kristy Lee but, David Archuleta right over there if you want to catch him."

"Thanks!" Nicole says, "Let's Go"

"Oh My Goodness," I say to myself, "I can see him." "I hope he remembers me." "Ughhh." "I don't know what to say." "Here goes nothing."

"Hey David" Nicole says, "Could you sign this for me?"

"Sure," He replies and then he looks up.

"August is that you?" he says.

"You remember," I whisper back.

(Security) "David you need to go now." and directs him away from August and Nicole.
