| no way man, he was on one...he ain't the first or last....he just couldn't handle himself and Dave just wasn't going for it. He is a remarkable actor with great talent. Unfortunatly this episode on Letterman could not have been good for his career. |

| This is NOT an act. He has a panic attack and has acute paranoia to the reactions of the audience. Dave and Paul are completely dumbfounded; def NOT acting. Whys it so unbelievable that actors have their quirks too? His pupils look dilated so hes possibly also on LSD or some other hallucinogen. After a meltdown like that Im sure most would be motivated to overcome it/cover it up..which is probably why he speaks so fluently and mentions this in all his major interviews to this day. |

Crispin Glover is freakin insane, but nonetheless he comes to each Letterman appearance 'being' whoever he was in his most recent movie/video...something Letterman apparently can't quite get. God I adore him... |

| I saw this air back in '87 and was floored by seeing him bug out live. Letterman refused to have him on the show for years. It's not fake, it's not staged, Glover's just a freak, and was trippin' balls. In his defense, having to share the stage with Paul and Dave would be the perfect reason to go on an acid bender. |
