The follow up to Cricket Fight. One month later Torin and I thought "Hey, our shins don't hurt too much any more... let's do another cricket fight!" Hell, why not? No story, just two men who want to watch cricket, but only get static with a barely visible MTV logo in the middle, getting bored and deciding to make the time go quicker by beating the crap out of each other. For a 5 minute film (where 1:30 of that is bloopers) can you really expect a complex story? Cricket Fighting Madness begins as the action unfolds.

Shot in a total of 5 hours over two days and edited about 2 days later while watching the Cricket and playing Call of Duty 4 this summer of 2008. This film sees myself and Torin experiment with slightly different ideas for the action. I'd say overall this film is a worthy follow up to Cricket Fight but not really a step up like that film was from my first work, The Mob Rules. Decide for yourself and check out my other films if you haven't already.

My inspirations include mostly 70's 80's and 90's Hong Kong (HK) dramatic and comedic kung fu films from Golden Harvest and Shaw Brothers. Specific actors and directors include Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Lau Kar Leung, Gordon Liu, Bruce Lee, Stephen Chow, Jet Li, Dick Wei, Lau Kar Wing, Corey Yuen, Tsui Hark, Lo Lieh, Jimmy Wang, Chang Cheh, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa (for someone outside of China). I'm based in Perth, Western Australia.
