You wanna bet i have a scholarship in biology and genetics, i never said i was the smartest person in the world at all. Dinosarus do demolish the bible they lived before humans millions years ago and have thousands of bones support that, i mean come on even a middle school kid knows that. You don't know how to dabate at all,all you do is just make stupid claims. A scientist would laugh at you making these laughable claims. Leave the debate to real professionals, not to someone who is clueless.
bones that show different species coming from one common ancestor. there are "transition animals" that show characteristics of two or more types of species but that does not make it fact that everything came from a common ancestor *as I stated before I am not going to continue a argument with you on here because you are not trying to have a honest debate...if you want to, come to my page, if not...I'm done with you
*i can pretty much guarantee you i know A LOT more about evolution than you do because I am majoring in Biology but you seem to think you are the smartest person in the world so I'll just give it to you *dinosaurs don't demolish the take of adam and eve because many people believe that the "6 days" of creation were six time periods, maybe if you would look into things like that you wouldn't sound so brain dead *we don't have...
lol lol. Here we go a close minded creationist. Dinosaurus demolish the take of adam and eve also the earths age. Evolution is a fact, you saying it's not surely tells me you don't nothing about evolution.Scientist have proved it we have bones for gods sake of it and to deny it, its pure ignorace. Your the one who is being childish, you clearly never had a debate at all, cause you would just deny all truth, like all your kind do.
*please tell me where in the bible it says that there were no dinosaurs. *i have already stated that I do not believe in macroevolution and that is not a fact, it is a theory that is widely accepted. *the arrogance shown in your comment with adding "huh" shows me that you will not honestly listen to what I have to say so if you truely are interested and I am wrong, comment on my profile or send me a message and I will continue but I do not wish to have a childish argument with you
No were open minded, just because we don't have answers for life why apply it to a god. Like christians, the bible has been proven wrong, by dinosaurus and evolution those are facts. We don't believe in a god because there's no proof, definetely the christian one in which the bible GOD does things to prove his existence and show he's all powerful, why can't he just reveal himself in a way we know it's him huh?
this question is very childish because everyone knows that people who believe in God (such as myself) believe that God has always been around and had no creator but you said "So it's seen as unlikely." if you want to go by evidence and scientific method as you say you do...we don't cross things out as possibilities because they are "unlikely" we do it when we know that it is completely impossible...once again, this shows close-mindedness
God used to be responsible for everything, lightning, Sun rotation around the Earth, earthquakes, plagues, EVERYTHING! Now of course we have natural explanations for all that stuff and we don't need a God to explain them. Abiogenesis is one of the few studies that hasn't got the answer yet and it's in those little gaps in our knowledge where God lives. He used to live in a mansion, now it's a garden shed. One day there will be no room left at all and He can live in mythology where He belongs.
"the scientific community has not come up with any realistic way that life began ... so crossing intelligent design off the list shows close-mindedness" No it doesn't. Evidence shows that life goes from simple to complex over time so to suppose an infinitely complex being started everything goes against the evidence. So it's seen as unlikely. Who created God? And just because they haven't cracked Abiogenesis yet doesn't mean they won't.
I like the point where he says "Well I got my point across anyway". His point, presumably, being that he's an idiot.
already reached. The difference between a religious explanation and scientific explanation is refinement and even the discarding of explanations. No one still believes in phlogiston, but it was discounted because it is bad science. We don't have people trying to dress it up pretty and pretend it is a new theory, like with ID. ID is just a fresh coat of paint on a bad idea with no support whatsoever. Sorry for the length, but I think that's all I need to say.
being the majority makes them automatically correct. The nature of Christianity makes it okay to follow blindly and parrot the work of the few Christians who have historically taken the time to think about what and why they believe. Christianity is complacency. And ID is bollocks because it is bollocks, not because it is religious. The conflicting explanations for various phenomena are considered "insufficient" as hypotheses, not simply made-up explanations to fit the conclusion we've ...
There are plenty of places where you can go to try spreading your ideas. Hell, here on YouTube is as good a place as any to start. Yet it seems the only place you can go to find a well thought out, researched theocratic argument is in published books, often in response to an atheistic viewpoint. And when that happens, a number of reasonable atheists (and a bigger number unreasonable) are there to provide rebuttals. Christians in general are fine with being the majority and pretending that ...
the reason I don't call in is because other than these videos on youtube, I've never heard of these people before. you are correct that there is no conclusive proof for the religion that could really hold weight in the scientific community because all religions are based on faith but I must remind you that the scientific community has not come up with any realistic way that life began that can be agreed upon either so immediately crossing intelligent design off the list shows close-mindedness
Then why don't you call in? You could be a genius of the highest order with the answers to all life's most important questions, but if you don't present yourself for someone to speak with you that isn't their fault. I think the reason intelligent Christians don't call in is because they understand what the term "conclusive proof" actually means and realize that they don't have it.
I'm wondering if you guys ever have any reasonable callers call in. All of your videos I have seen show creationists who seem very stupid but I am a christian creationist who is in school for biology at the moment and could hold a much better debate/conversation about intelligent design than all of the people I have seen call in. Before all of the people watching this try to start a debate with me I will say that I believe in microevolution not macro (just to save you all some questions).
don't even need a moron debating a genius it could be two fairly average individuals, but one of them happens to not have a working knowledge of the subject that is correct, the other could easily win by deception - this is why i always tell creationist who use deceptive tactics, misrepresentations or plain lies, "don't talk to me like i don't know anything about the subject"
Thank you for posting. The first part of this Darwin quote is forever being put forward by creationists. Some do it because they are gullible, but frequently it is an act of pure deception.
True.
Yeah, in a way it sounds like a paradox, but winning a debate doesn't mean its true. Take a moron to debate something which is true with a genius to argue against it. The genius could very well come out on top Simply a court case with lawyers going at it. A good lawyer can get a guilty man out of it Not like I care about any of this anymore. It's just stupid to debate. Enjoy life cause there is no god. I'll just go about my life and let all the religious people waste their time worshiping a lie
"Winning a debate doesn't prove anything. It just proves more knowledge over something." Talking about a paradox O.O
LOL!
I've heard that quote so many times. Fucking idiots bringing that up.
"They would call me a liar..." "That would be because you're a liar. Next caller."
that guys ass must still hurt after that utter ownage
Good for them for owning the caller. I gotta say though, the guy in the black shirt looks like a biker, and it's good to know that he's a really intelligent person!
I would call him a liar becuase he only gave almost not even half of the quote and was trying to say that Darwin said the eye couldnt of formed by its self, and that is not the case, therefor I would call him a liar. Also, common sense tells me to think the earth is round is absurd, but due to evidence and investigating, it is round. Common sense does not equal truth, or fact. Plus its objective.
i like how the caller thinks he still made a good point at the end. in no way did the rest of the paragraph sink in, he'll probably keep using the quote mine.
im not your bitch MARy is my bitch
Ah, quote mining... so much fun to battle. Context people...context!!!
Epic. Just...epic.
hahaha pwnd bitch
he can barely read the text
Because, why the hell not?
Hilarious stupidity...
why do public acess show host always wear funny hats
these two dudes totally PWNT the caller. I like how they laugh when the caller completely disregards the second half of the paragraph 3 times in a row.
Priceless! His reading comprehension was so bad that even after he'd read the next line -*out loud*- he STILL didn't realized that he'd just owned himself.
That's fucking hilarious!
"I made my point, anyway." Yes, you did.
Go ahead, read the rest of the quote. (I fucking lolled, knowing what was coming)
God this vid is so good.
I love quote mining... "jesus said do... others!" All night!
buhahahahhaahhahahhaaha!!!!!!!!! this is hilarious!
Hahahahaha you know you need to seriously reconsider your positions when you own YOURSELF on television.
clowns. real clowns
The caller... O_o' This is like some one reading the bible and stopping at Leviticus. "And saying that ahh... There is a lot left. I'll just stop here. I think this is the point of the book anyway."
LOL!!!!
This was funny... Stupid religious people
Lol Darwinist, I laugh every time I hear that term. It's like Christians need to make a religion out of anything just so that they can feel like they can match up.
