| That's so cute how they play together. And how thei look the other one in the eye, I couldn't watch back when a cat looks at me like that. That such an intense look, it's awesome. They're really sweet! And I know what it is like when cats really fight. That looks a lot worse, they're realy cruel and they're so loud, you can't really imagine how such a small animal can be that loud. It's awesome. Thanks for this video, it's really cute, you have very sweet cats! |

| It's really not a big deal. Our cats also do this, and have been for several years without receiving any injuries. They're partly having fun, partly establishing dominance over the territory. They can lie and sleep together just minutes after something like that. |

| These cats are just playing. Trust me, when cats really fight, they end up dead or serverly injured. It makes my hair stand up when I hear them wailing. |

| No, I wish I had a video of nadia and my cat megan fighting, back when they used to hate each other. It was more than just wrestling. Is it normal for a cat's ears to recede back and her hair to stand on heckles when play-fighting ? Don't think so. The sounds they made were pretty scary as well. I've seen cats play-fight, and a lot of times they don't even make a sound or display any of the classic symptoms a cat displays when genuinely scared or angry. |

| actually, it's very healthy for cats to wrestle. a lot of people mistake them wrestling for fighting... they can't really play kickball so wrestling is the way they play, when they don't wrestle it doesn't mean they get along good, it CAN mean that but it doesn't all the time. my cats wrestle all the time and they are pretty damn happy. |

| Next time they fight, you spray them with a water-bottle. When my roommate got her cat Nadia, it used to fight with my cat all the time, and we'd spray them with water to discourage them. In time, they stopped this negative behavior and learned to tolerate each other. It's okay for cats to playfight once in a while, but it's unhealthy if they do it too much. |

| Yes they are play fighting. Arching backs and flattening ears is instinctive. They arch and turn side on to the opponent to appear bigger, and flatten ears to reduce the chances of damage. My Eddie and Pasha don't do it though, as they didn't grow up together, and Pasha was semi feral originally and never learned how to play. |

| I think it just depends on the personality of the cats. We have a boy and a girl (I was told they get along better) and the girl was the one instigating the fights while the boy whined. He finally caught up and now they play like that all the time!! |

| We had two cats, sisters, and they never fought beyond about a year and a half old, one was "top cat" and the other just did as she was told, completely avoided confrontation. The one in charge would just give her a look, that was all it too, and she would turn around and walk away. I wonder if, had they been two boys, they would have had more of this sort of relationship. Its a lot more entertaining! |
