| I use Crossover to play CS:S on my macbook PRO! it works pretty good but i wouldn't trust it hundred percent just cuz it can freeze but rarely anyone know if VMware any better? |

| yeah, terrible. I'm guessing a 3.06GHz Intel with Nvidia GeForce 8800 would be a pretty good deal for garrys mod, especially with the much highly needed framerate |

| Oh well yeah, of course, since an iMac actually has a dedicated video card. Since the Macbook (and I have a year old macbook before the dual core revisions) has no dedicated graphics processor, it is horrible for 3D games. |

| It depends on the graphics card. And you would have to upgrade the RAM, because 512 MB is a bit low. |

| it can't be any better than using an actual macbook running windows, I did that and it sucked frames were bad, about 27fps and choppy. |

| Tried this myself on my 2.2GHz MacBook. Getting >30fps in CS1.6 (after tweaking)... considering I get >250fps in source on my £250 ($500) PC there's really very little point, crossover is an amazing app though. |

| Ok i installed star wars battlefront 2 using crossover but when i try to launch the game it says there is no cd in the drive but there is... i dont get it i mean how would it read that theres the cd to install it if i cant even play the game? can someone please help me here... im coonfused lol. |

| it would run k but you will have to put the graphics on med or even low because of your gpu i have a similar pc except with a slightly worse gpu than you (845g) and i could only play small maps, big ones made me get low framerates so yeah basically it would would work |
