| "the producer's job is to create, shape and mold a piece of music in accordance with their vision for the album. " If anything, you can blame Brian Eno. Do you know how that is? Thats the big bad boy who helped Coldplay make Viva la Vida. He's also worked with U2, so he has a pretty good rep. I don't think a successful man such as Mr. Eno would steal other people's melody. I see absolutely no similiarity between this, Satriani's, and Coldplay's song. |

Here's a lesson to Satriani: learn from this humble and wonderful soul formely known as Cat Stevens. Stop claiming for press and cash from a melody that doesn't belong to you!. | Thanks for the links/references. After looking at them, I have to disagree. These songs are only superficially similar in small sections. The Alizee and Creakyboards songs are not even close except for a few notes. The Coldplay and Satriani songs are much closer in structure, meter, rhythm patterns, and melody. |
