riding my new ninja through a backroad by my house. The video quality isn't great because it was getting dark, and they didn't zoom in at all, but hope you like...more coming soon

i'm a female 5'6" and I haven't tested the 0-60 but i know on the highway with the 08' 250 it has no problems going 100+,so far i've been able to top it at 110 (but im still new so I haven't yet punched it allll the way through) at 110 it felt like it had mroe in it so thats just my 2 cents....

RHCPfan

it's about $4300 CDN

poppinfresh

how much was your out the door cost for the bike?

rodig23033095

Yeah the top speed is about 105-115 mph, the 0-60 time is about 5.75 seconds and the 1/4 mile is a little over 14 seconds. you should get anywhere from 55 to about 70mpg depending on how you ride it. Hope this helps

RealStarHusky

i sold my 650 cruiser for a zx6r ninja.. a supersport.. it was totaled by a psycho woman in a lincoln and i unfortunately didn't have full coverage. i could only afford payments on a 250 now, and i picked up an 08 250r. its a freaking blast everywhere but the freeway and even that you will show up many cars if need be. that little engine is SOLID.

fatony26

amazing fuel econo too no doubt!

forumboy007

Don't believe what you hear...whoever told you that is full of shit! Top speed with me on it {I weigh 200#} is 105, and 0-60, i don't have an exact time but i'd estimate it to be around 5 seconds...It get's to 60 pretty quickly that's for sure!

charlieforest16

okk

fatony26

as a rider i would say its a good starter bike but you might get tired of it after a few months. you might look at the 500.. whats the top speed on that? i hear its under 90 mph. and 0-60 is around 10 seconds. is that true?

forumboy007

absolutely!!!

charlieforest16

did u think it would be a good beginer bike for the road? i have a motocross and im thinking of selling it and buying one of those..

im 16, and im 6 feet tall.

thanks

TheReapersSon

Thanks again for the videos! It looks as though the 2008 model can keep up for most general driving conditions that people need in a smaller sport bike. BTW, nice Maxima! I have an '89 SE with 279k miles on it and it's still going strong... the stick SE maximas are awesome cars. For a V6 it gets decent gas mileage too, with an average of street and freeway mpg at about 24-25 overall. Can't wait to see a freeway trip vid of the bike!

skylinedrake

cool man i think your car will go faster 0-60 then the 250 the 250 what 5.3, 5.2 350z will go 0-60 4.8 , 4.6 you should make a video of the car and bike a drag race any ways your car does sound good man

forumboy007

2002 nissan maxima. VQ35 is the same engine the 350z has...has a magnaflow exhaust, stage 3 clutch, race flywheel, 150 shot nitrous, amongst other internal mods...this car hauls ass...and can fit the wife and kids in it to go grocery shopping

skylinedrake

what kind of car it sounds good

FatGirlsSmell

Bro just insruance costs alone is enough for me...Im getting mine in May.

forumboy007

smooth, responsive, handles great! I've enjoyed every mile I've put on it!!!

forumboy007

It's a 2k2 maxima, and yes, other vid is from same car...It's going to be sunny and 75 this weekend so I'll put up some more vids in a few days

Bantl1jj

Whats highway cruising like on this bike? I've always been interested in a ninja 250 because they're inexpensive and pretty reliable, but they were just not very good looking. now they look sweet.

FatGirlsSmell

I researched the interior and this looks like a 2002-2003 Nissan Maxima, is your other video taken from the inside of a Maxima as well?

forumboy007

I'm waiting too! It won't stop raining and snowing here in Portland...must be global warming, LMAO

Seth6Strummer

We're waiting! And im dying for a good 0-60 O_O Nothing but long stretches in Florida..wondering if the 250R will really keep me happy for a long time :p I really want a new one..

Seth6Strummer

When I went to Kawasaki the 250 didn't look toyish AT ALL like it used to. It looks very good sized next to a 600. I honestly kept asking the dealer if that was really the 250 and not a ZX-6R. I couldn't believe it... It looks like a big bike, don't worry :p

forumboy007

absolutely!!! VQ35...same engine that's in the 350z and the infiniti G35

playersball23

there is a video with it

forumboy007

absolutely...It's rainy here, so it'll be a few more days before i can take my bike out again

smartguyin

hi... can u get video with other bikes too like 600cc and 1000cc bikes... i wanted to see how big this bike is in comparision to 600cc and 1000cc.. please can you get the video with others bikes too.. This video would have been very good if it was taken in zoom and taken from side view like your other video..

forumboy007

ditto that

gettinginutube

gimme a good sunny day and i will put the best ninja 250 video up no doubt

gettinginutube

whats that idea. i think i have a better one!!!!!

robm425

3.5 liter V6 I am guessing? That is a great engine from Nissan

maken3

hmmm i'd Also like to know this. i use to own a old GPX250 (the older model of this) and i could keep up with a CBR pretty easy. but not a RR... i think the RR would be faster than this bike, but i doubt it'll be more reliable considering they're all 2nd hand bikes with heaps of Km's on them. ummmm yeah. i have ridden with a 250RR before and they are faster, but not so much that i would rather have one over a ninja250. too many CBR's on teh road.

forumboy007

2K2 NISSAN MAXIMA...ridiculously fast! Magnaflow race series gives it such a deep and powerful note...

robm425

What is the chase car? The exhuast in that sounds pretty deep

6314026

so your kawasaki ninja 250r is faster than the honda cbr 250rr? because i want to get a ninja 250r but people tell me the cbr250rr is quicker and more reliable. is it also true that honda are more reliable than kawaskis?

forumboy007

I've got such a sick video idea!!! will blow away all the other ninja 250 vids out there!!! Check back soon, just waitin for a sunny day

mightyaznmidget

damn it got dark real quick

forumboy007

raining here for the next week, but as soon as I get a chance, I'll make some really good videos

forumboy007

Thanks! I live in Oregon City, which is a suburb about 10 minutes south of Portland...I live on the outskirts of the city so I have some amazing country roads right out my door

Seth6Strummer

Finally someone that posts good videos! Beautiful riding area, where are you located? Thanks alot of the vids man : )

forumboy007

Thanks! More to follow as soon as weather clears up a little!

forumboy007

will definately keep em coming! It's raining here in good ol Portland OR, but next sunny day I'll be out riding and taking some good vids!

forumboy007

It's faster than all the Hondas that have tried to race me so far...It's fast enough to have lots of fun on, but it's definately not fast like the big 600's and 750's are...although racing on a twisty back road, you'd certainly be able to keep up with the bigger bikes...it's so light and nimble, really easy to throw around in the corners

lilro205

thanks m8 much needed video lol

lilro205

thanks m8 much needed video lol

Ease2k6

piotr412
